On July 4, 2018 I was rounding third heading for the plate. Right before I was about to slide into the plate, I quickly realized it was going to be a ‘bang, bang’ play. When I saw the catcher lean down, ball in glove, to tag my foot, I stuck my foot in the ground and flipped over him to touch the plate to help put the team ahead.
